Thank you for visiting. I am fundraising in connection with the Crunch 25th Anniversary Championship Reunion Game. This cause is very dear to me, and I'll appreciate all the support I can get! Together we can make a difference! Best - Tim

About Tim:

Tim Tsirambidis grew up in Cleveland, the 3rd child born to Greek immigrants, and graduated from Lakewood High School in 1988 where he played varsity soccer all 4 years. He went on to play soccer at the collegiate level at Cleveland State University on scholarship. During his sophomore year, Tim had the opportunity to play in the professional arena and moved to Greece to pursue that dream. He enjoyed a 6 year professional soccer career in Greece playing at various levels. He eventually moved back to Cleveland, Ohio where he continued to play professional soccer in the MISL for the Cleveland Crunch and in 1994 brought a world championship to Cleveland, retiring in 1996. A natural entrepreneur, he owns real estate and is currently the owner and CEO of Extreme Auto Detailing & Auto Mart. He understands the value of business ownership and is grateful for the lessons being a professional athlete taught him. Tim continues to coach at the club level with the Cleveland Whitecaps. Tim currently resides in Broadview Heights with his wife Julie of 22 years, and their 4 children, all of whom play soccer. He spends his free time volunteering and immersing his family in their Greek heritage and Christian faith. He enjoys spending his summers in Greece, where the family maintains their ancestral home.

About the Foundations we will be supporting:

The HandsOnSports Foundation was founded by Otto Orf in 2005 and began with a Charity Golf Classic 14 years ago. The organization received its 501.c3 not-for-profit status in 2009, and continued working to provide positive environments, education and opportunities for at risk youth. Working with children to provide them with instruction and affirmations of value through soccer HandsOnSports has distributed over 20,000 pair of soccer shoes, balls and uniforms to the children of NE Ohio and more than a dozen additional countries. Working with Henry Schein Cares we collect and distribute more than $250,000 of medical supplies annually to numerous free clinics across Ohio and to collaborating organizations in Costa Rica and Honduras. Since 2012 we have been partnering with communities and service organizations to create public access futsal courts complete with programing and equipment to bring access to the worlds 'beautiful game' to children all across NE Ohio.

In May of 2007 Max Plotkin was diagnosed with a rare form of B-Cell Lymphoma, on the day before his 4th birthday. The cancer was extremely rare, having never been seen by Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC). The cancer originated in his right forearm and it metastasized to his left knee. It was stage 4. Today Max is 15-years-old and is considered to be an 11-year cancer survivor.
In 2008, The Max Cure Foundation (MCF) was incorporated as a 501(c)(3) charity. MCF has expanded its research mission and funding, and to-date has granted over $1.6 million dollars for childhood cancer research. Since November 2011, MCF has provided assistance to over 150 families at countless hospitals and clinics across the United States, with a strong presence in New Jersey and New York. Since inception, Max Cure has provided over $780,000 in financial support to families in need who have a child battling cancer, along with giving $80,000 in grants to sustain psychosocial programs and other services in hospitals and clinics.
